My name is Jessica Borkenhagen, and I am a Masters Level Clinical Trainee at Experiencing Moore. I graduated from Walden University in November of 2022 and am in the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a BA in K-12 Art Education and spent 15 years working as an art teacher, mostly in the middle school setting. I also worked as a family ministry director, foster parent, and women’s health center volunteer. Through those experiences, I could engage in people’s lives through creative expression, meaningful discussions, skill-building, support, and spirituality. I look forward to similar engagement in the therapeutic setting. I am specifically interested in working with adults and adolescents experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, as well as couples facing infidelity, communication difficulties, loss of connection, parenting struggles, or just in need of a relationship check-in. I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate life’s path!

BIO
I have finished my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am pursuing full licensure as an LPCC in Minnesota.
My goal is to help you think about yourself in terms of body, mind, and soul and how these can be part of your solution. My background includes 16 years as a pastor working with children, youth, and adults and five years specifically working with seniors. I have loved these positions, but I felt that I was being called to pursue additional expertise in counseling, especially after working through my struggles with addiction and finding a path to recovery that involved counseling and 12-step work. I am specifically interested in helping people work through struggles with depression, anxiety, grief, caregiving, marital/relationship problems, and addiction, and I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors. I will build a cooperative relationship with you, help you find your strengths, ask the right questions, and help you challenge thoughts and patterns from your past and present that are undermining your mental health. My therapeutic approach includes elements of systems and cognitive behavioral theories, but I’m always looking at each individual and tailoring my approach to them. I look forward to supporting you on your path to whole-person health.

Kelly Foster, MA,
MH PR - Licensee LPCC
BIO
Hello! My name is Kelly Foster. I have been passionate about helping others for as long as I can remember. I tend to notice the people who don’t fit in and who don’t have powerful voices. However, my experiences have allowed me to empathize with a diverse range of people. I consider myself to be a person-centered, personable, strengths-based therapist. I love encouraging my clients while sometimes challenging them to think outside the box and grow!
I am one of only a handful of therapists in Minnesota trained in a newer type of therapy, Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), which treats disorders of “over-control.” I am specifically interested in working with neurodivergence, trauma, teens, and young adults. I enjoy building client relationships while adding humor, creativity, and play. I also offer faith-based counseling to those who are interested!
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and in nature: hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, and swimming! I love animals and have two Siberian Husky dogs, one of which may join me in the office from time to time.
